There are many false gospels in the world today because men do not study the word of God and instead they preach what is in their own heart or a tradition of men. "Repent, be saved" is a false gospel if you do not add the word of God shewing how they can be saved by the Lord Jesus. Salvation is not by your own works, but it is the gift of God. Once you believe the gospel then call upon the One who can save you - the Lord Jesus.
