  • Ezra 7:6 This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.

After writing this three times the Spirit reminded me of these verses in Romans.

  • Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

  • Romans 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

All have sinned. I know that I have taken the name of the LORD God in vain. Now I will not be held guiltless.

However, by the faith of Jesus Christ and his shed blood I am cleansed from all my sin. Justified by his blood, so I am guiltless in Jesus Christ.

  • Romans 5:8-9
    8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
    9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
