There is a whole chapter with instructions on prophesying for us today in 1 Corinthians 14. And in which it also covers how men are to prophesy one at a time when we all be come together in one place (1 Corinthians 14:23, 26). However, it does not give such instructions for preaching the word of God. And so if preaching is different from prophesying, then we are without instructions for preaching in the church within the word of God. But the case of the matter is not so and to prophesy is to preach. And guess what... woman can prophesy according to the word of God. Only not when we are come together into one place as the church. Acts 2:17 KJV  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:, 1 Corinthians 11:5 KJV  But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven., Even a teacher of the things of God is considered a prophet according to the word of God. Isaiah 9:15 KJV  The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail., How else are we to learn the word of God without hearing the word of God as it is written in Romans 10:17. But just as well we ought to keep in mind how we have the word of God, and how that no prophecy of scripture is of a private interpretation.
