The answer is yes...even we are commanded to speak with ourselves (Eph 5:19). Besides that, if Jesus did not pray then prophecy would not be fulfilled and we wouldn't have Jesus' example to follow in praying to the Father. If you are honest and stick to scripture, the fact that Jesus prays to the Father does not make him a whole other separate person.
