Here is another video in the series on understanding sheet musick. The purpose of these videos is to help the body of Christ understand what they are looking at when they open a hymnal so that we may sing with unity of mind. The sheet musick is standardized so that if we understand what the symbols and musical notes mean then we all can sing with one voice. To be noted, singing with the understanding according to scripture is the way to sing with one mind to the Lord Jesus.Romans 15:5-6 5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: 6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. The topics covered in this study are Echos in the refrain, Crescendo (cresc.), Ritardando (rit.), Accents (>), Grand Refrain, Fermatas 𝄐, Numbered lines in the refrain, D.S. Al Fine (Dal Segno al Fine - the squiggly mark is the "segno"), Please take the time to grab your own hymnal and turn to the hymns shown in the video. Consider what was shown and practice these hymns so you may understand this musical notation. Singing to the Lord with a joyful noise is the commandment in scripture, so understanding sheet musick isn't necessary to sing to God. However, since we sing with a hymnal understanding what we are singing will help us to be in one accord as we sing and will remove confusion and disorder.Psalms 98:4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
