There are many gods in this world. 1 Corinthians 8:5-6 5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) 6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. How powerful is the God of the King James Bible to you? Without the scripture we cannot understand the power of God. Those who try to understand God without the Bible make up a god in their own imagination. Then, they think that God is something that can be seen in this world and they make an idol or a graven image. Please read Romans 1:18-32 to understand the mind of people who hold the truth in unrighteousness. Here are a couple of verses from this passage of scripture: Romans 1:21-23 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. The true and living God, the Lord Jesus Christ, is not limited to a figure that a man carved out of a rock or tree. Also, God has commanded in his words to not make graven images of him.
